Ingredients for Suji Appe
Semolina – 1/2 kg
Onion finely chopped – 1
Tomato finely chopped – 1
Buttermilk – 2 cups
Green chili chopped – 4-5
Green coriander chopped – 2 tbsp
Cumin – 1/4 tsp
Rai – 1 tsp
Baking soda – 1/2 tsp
oil – as required
salt – as per taste

How to make Suji Appe
To make semolina appe, first put semolina in a big bowl and add 2 cups of buttermilk to it and mix it well. Now prepare a batter of semolina by adding a little water. Keep in mind that while making the solution, it should not be too thick or thin. After the batter is ready, cover it for half an hour and keep it aside. After half an hour, when the batter is taken out, the semolina will start to appear swollen.
After this, if the solution seems too thick, then you can dilute the batter by adding some water to it.

While keeping the batter aside, finely chop onion, tomato, green chillies and coriander leaves in the remaining time. Add it to the prepared batter and mix. Now mix cumin and salt as per taste in the solution. After the solution is ready, add baking soda at the end and mix it once or twice with the help of a spoon. Keep in mind that after adding soda, do not beat the batter too much.
Now take a pot to make appe and put some oil in each of its food and keep it for heating. When the oil becomes slightly hot, put some mustard seeds in it. After this, pour semolina solution into it and fill it.

Now let the appe saute on medium flame. Cook the appe till they turn light brown, then turn them over and let them become light golden from the other side as well. Appe will be cooked well in 5-7 minutes. Now take out the appe in a plate and make sooji appe from all the batter in the same way. Healthy and Tasty Sooji Appe breakfast is ready.
